Julia is a vibrant and passionate mark maker, feeling most free to refine her artistic expression in printmaking.

Collagraphs and solar plate etchings are dominant in her work where exploration of a diverse range of printmaking techniques can be found in her subtle but intriguing images.

Through her artistic journey Julia has been mentored by Roslyn Kean, a highly regarded Japanese woodblock artist. She has also fostered her artistic practice through her associations with Hornsby TAFE, Willoughby Workshop Arts Centre and Ku-ring-gai Art Centre in Roseville.
