“I first rough in an idea, just an outline of what I want to create. The finished work usually ends up quite differently to what is first intended but that is what happens in the creative phase. I use mainly glass as I find it glows and gives greater depth, enhancing the colours. If you look closely at our native birds, their feathers shimmer in the reflected light. This is my ode to the natural world”.
